Sometimes when bands move from demo to first release, they lose something: not as fast or not as evil or too produced.
This album is not one of them.
The recording is cleaner, so you can hear things better than _Rise of Death_ but otherwise, this has the same black thrash from the speed layer of the Abyss sound.
Highly recommended for fans of Shakma, Nuclear Revenge, early Kreator, or Gallower.

Awesome Swedish Blackened thrash. Mastered by Robert Phersson(Death Breath). You know it's dirty, you know its evil and you know you're in for a real treat. Favorite track: Succubus.

"The Swedish quartet worship at the altars of the first wave of black metal and Teutonic thrash, sinking their teeth into the classic style with enthusiasm and gusto on debut album The Warriors Awakening Brings the Unholy Slaughter....If names like Kreator, Venom, Sodom and Coroner send a chill down your spine, then Eternal Evil’s The Warriors Awakening Brings the Unholy Slaughter is your jam."

"It’s a headbanger from the first second, and will have you terrorizing your neighbors, roommates, and families with punishing beats, annihilating riffs, and razor-sharp vocals. This is an aural bloodbath that will leave no ears alive in its wake! "

"Packed with moments that are bound to trigger nostalgia about the first time you discovered thrash metal, these Swedish teens' debut taps into the same infectious energy that gave the genre its push into the spotlight so many decades ago."

"A feral debut of pure blackened, speeding, thrashing carnage that pays its dues to the old school, bleeding Heavy Metal passion and firing on all cylinders from start to end. If you are looking for a diverse and complexity-laden record, this is not it. But if you seek a diabolical cut of pure old school violence, you have found it. What is not to love? -8/10"

" It’s always amazing to see how well the younger generations of metalheads understand their roots and dig them out to update them for the modern age and strangle posers with them the way their ancestors once did, and no one is happier than me to say that Eternal Evil are as studious as they are barbaric. Hell fucking yes."

"The most violent of riffs, most maniacal of vocals and a suitably shite production made The Warriors Awakening Brings the Unholy Slaughter all the more authentic and while we’ve heard this shit a million times before….once more certainly won’t harm anyone."

Pretty much the best Black/Speed Metal I've listened to since I learned about Evil Invaders and Vulture. Everything you'd love to be reminded of about this musical era is there. The influences are what you'd expect too: Motörhead, Venom, Bathory, early Slayer, Celtic Frost; aggressive vocals, tortured guitar solos, pounding drums; everything is fast, clear and still a little grimy, but without reverb cranked up to the max. Amazing band, amazing album. Odiumediae

never been a big death metal fan but this is actually super accessible for the genre, has fun concepts, and personally i'm always a fan of albums with short tracklists and huge runtimes (for individual songs) Great time, good jumping on point for newbies too. alienasu
